Landis Fishing Rodeo & Picnic Raises Over $2,000

The third year of the Landis Fishing Rodeo and Picnic proved to be the most successful thus far, with the number of registrants doubling from 2014 to 2015. The weather was dark and stormy, but that did not deter the 150+ people in attendance.

Landis Fishing Rodeo & Picnic – June 14, 2015

Please come join us as we celebrate our business partners, clients, and employees. Hop on a boat or play ashore – we’ll have games, food, door prizes, and refreshments for all ages. All proceeds benefit “The Jennie Lewis Life & Legacy Award.”

$25.00 registration for all anglers and non anglers 17 years and older.

2015 LA Landmarks Society Awards

Three projects built by Landis received honors through the 2015 Louisiana Landmarks Society Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation. The winning projects were: Pan American Life Insurance Building, 2400 Canal St; New Orleans Jazz Market, Oretha Castle Haley at Martin Luther King; and Marais Apartments, 1501 Canal St.

1501 Canal Street Historic Renovation & Adaptive Reuse

Landis has completed construction on the renovation and adaptive reuse of the historic, 17-story building located at 1501 Canal formerly known as the Texaco office building.  The building features a steel structure and enamel coated steel curtain wall exterior which allows for open, flexible interior space with minimal interior columns.

Landis Named One of the Best Places to Work

For the third year in a row, Landis Construction has been named one of the Best Places to Work by New Orleans CityBusiness!  The award recognizes the top 50 employers, including 35 large companies and 15 small.  Landis was selected based on information provided on benefits offered, including health care, average salary, paid time off and employee programs.

Restaurant R’evolution

Located in the heart of the French Quarter, the Royal Sonesta Hotel has a new restaurant constructed by Landis Construction Co., LLC. The magnificent 6,000 square foot project was completed in the Spring, 2012 and consists of seven dining rooms that incorporate the cultures of those that have contributed to Louisiana’s historic culinary melting pot.

Landis Achieves ZERO Accidents!

The owners and management of New Orleans-based Landis Construction, LLC are proud to announce that the company finished the year 2011 with no accidents occurring among its staff on any jobsites and projects.  Specifically, this means no workers’ compensation claims, no time lost or delays due to accidents, and no injuries or jobsite incidents throughout the entire year.
