Landis Construction Co., LLC

An old taxi cab warehouse and abandoned surrounding properties were transformed in Louisiana’s first state-of-the-art media production facility and the nation’s first independent green film studio.  Located in the lower garden district of New Orleans, and overseen by the HDLC, the project consisted of a one square block renovation connecting four existing historic buildings and the construction of a new five-story building.

While keeping the exposed beams and columns, wood floors, and high ceilings that made the original building so special, Landis incorporated state of the art green elements and technological improvements to bring the building into the new millennium.

Trinity Lutheran Church is the oldest Lutheran church on the New Orleans Westbank and noted as the fourth oldest Lutheran church in the City of New Orleans.  Following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita Landis was contracted to repair the structure.

The Red Fish Grill project consisted of the complete removal and replacement of the first floor slab to facilitate stained etched concrete flooring.

Ralph's Restaurant houses three private dining rooms, a balcony which overlooks historic City Park, office and storage areas, a liquor room and a fully insulated, temperature controlled wine room.

Bruno & Bruno Law Firm project included was the creation of ground floor parking, refurbishment of windows, new roofing and all new mechanical and electrical systems.
