The 57,000 square foot structure features a bookstore, fitness center, movie theater, four lane bowling alley, food court and common meeting areas.

The Xavier University Faculty Housing project is the first of its kind in the greater New Orleans area.

An old taxi cab warehouse and abandoned surrounding properties were transformed in Louisiana’s first state-of-the-art media production facility and the nation’s first independent green film studio.  Located in the lower garden district of New Orleans, and overseen by the HDLC, the project consisted of a one square block renovation connecting four existing historic buildings and the construction of a new five-story building.

While keeping the exposed beams and columns, wood floors, and high ceilings that made the original building so special, Landis incorporated state of the art green elements and technological improvements to bring the building into the new millennium.
