Temple Sinai Renovations
New Orleans, LA
The Temple Sinai Renovation project consisted of 18,500 square feet of Auditorium, Congregation Areas, and Education Hall upgrades. The project included demolition, replacement of finishes, construction of new restrooms, restoration of original wood flooring, installation of new flooring, HVAC retrofit, installation of new dimmer light systems, fire protection and sprinkler modifications, custom doors, frames, and hardware, custom millwork and display cases. Also included were specific custom levels of finishes throughout which were selected by the Owner during the course of construction. Landis was required to work closely with the Architects, Owner, Engineering Consultants, and our Subcontractors to resolve many scope and furnishing changes after commencement of construction. Some of these included delays caused by Hurricane Katrina and continued events and services being held during the course of construction.
