Since its inception more than 60 years ago, Landis Construction has been a respected leader among construction, architecture, and engineering industries in Greater New Orleans and throughout Southeast Louisiana. Fred Landis founded the company in 1956 at the age of just 14 and was succeeded by his son James (Jim) Landis, who immediately began learning the trade working on job sites digging ditches and carrying lumber. Following Fred's passing in 1976, his widow Evelyn Landis preserved the company's family leadership by becoming chairman of the board before Jim assumed control in 1978 as President and CEO.
Third-generation CEO Anne Teague Landis began learning the company's administrative side as young as her father did the building side, working in the office during her summer breaks. When Anne Teague joined the team permanently in 2008, she began working side-by-side with her father to learn the business's ins and outs before officially taking over the reins as Chief Executive Officer in 2015.
Today, Landis continues to service an expansive portfolio of clients managed under the leadership of Anne Teague Landis and the Landis family. The firm attributes its longevity and success to the sacrifice, hard work, and dedication of its employees, clients, subcontractors, and other associates in New Orleans and across the region.
We strive to understand our clients' needs, and exceed their expectations through creative solutions. We value the safety, well-being, and development of our employees and subcontractors. We seek opportunities to support and enhance our community while taking responsibility for the world in which we live. We honor our heritage of quality, integrity, and helping our clients achieve their goals on every project.

Not doing the right thing can be tempting in troubled times, but these times are when relationships built on years of fair dealing are most important.
